The Bible teaches in I Thessalonians 4:13 "But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about those who have died, so that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope." (NRSV). The Greater New Hope MBC acknowledges that the grief associated with the death of a loved one can be very painful and therefore we want to come alongside our members during this difficult time.

The Family of Bro. Ed Gordon, his Homegoing Celebration was Friday, September 19th. He was the husband of Sis. Corine Gordon, father of Edwina Gordon, and Brother of Sis. Christian Hill, and stepfather of Lamar, Keith, and Reggie Berry.
The Family of Sis. Linda Taylor, - her Homegoing Celebration was held on Saturday, September 20th.
